Correctional Services Commissioner Zach Modise, described by Judge Masipa as a “good witness:” painted us a brilliant picture of the state of correctional facilities nationwide. Admitting that it’s far from perfect, Modise did enough to convince Masipa that Oscar would be in capable hands.

Despite the exemplary track-record of state institutions and truthfulness, we thought we’d bring you a run-down of Oscar’s new luxury crib.

Oscar’s bedroom is a quaint melange of boho chic finishes and upcycled materials. Minimalism is the key focus of this hauntingly authentic room.

Every crib needs a ride, and OP’s new place has just that. Built to suppress the most violent of protests, the Nyala is the hummer of SA and celebrities of Oscar’s stature deserve only the most hardcore wheels. His new pad has space for dozens of these behemoths, thankfully the government will be paying for fuel.

There you have it, a tour of Kgosi Mampuri prison, formerly referred to as Pretoria Central… yes, the prison where most of the hangings under Apartheid took place. A cosy space, deserving of it’s infamous reputation.
