Treasury decides Zuma should p

National Treasury has reported back to the Constitutional Court, with an estimate of that it believes Zuma should pay back for the non-security upgrades at his private Nkandla homestead.

“All queries regarding the matter should be directed to the Court,”the Treasury said.

The court ruled that Treasury had 60 days to determine how much the president should pay back and it’s decided on R7.8 million.

“As a consequence, the reasonable percentage of the estimated costs of the five measures that the President would have to pay personally would be 87,94%.  This percentage corresponds to R7 814 155 as at June 2009,” Treasury’s report reads.
