Trash thrown over parts of Joburg CBD last night in protest action [video]

Last night saw the second night of protests by a group of Jozi@Work protestors, about 200 workers marched through the CBD upending rubbish bins. So why the protests? Mayor Herman Mashaba recently axed the program.

The protestors reportedly threatened Joburg refuse workers, leading workers to end up aborting shifts as they feared for their own safety.
