Teenager gunned down broad daylight in Sydenham, Durban
Paramedics said the teenager was declared dead on the scene after he was gunned down in broad daylight in Durban on Sunday.

A teenager was gunned down in broad daylight after he was chased down Butcher road in Durban by a group of armed assailants on Sunday.
THE SHOOTING HAPPENED ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON
Netcare 911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst said paramedics responded to the scene at 12:59 on Sunday afternoon in Sydenham.
“Reports indicate that multiple armed assailants had gunned down a male in his teenage years,” he said.
When paramedics arrived, they found the teenager on the floor in a garden.
THE LIFELESS TEENAGER WAS FOUND IN THE GARDEN
“Members of the public alleged on the scene that the boy was seen running up the road, being chased by an unknown number of persons.
“The teenager was assessed by an advanced life support paramedic, but sadly the patient showed no signs of life and was tragically declared deceased,” Herbst said.
He furthermore said the relevant authorities would investigate the circumstances leading up to the incident.
ANOTHER TEENAGER STABBED TO DEATH IN RIVONIA
This comes hours after a teenager was stabbed to death outside a club in Rivonia.

“A teenager, believed to be 16 years of age, has been killed in a stabbing incident outside a club on Wessel Road in Rivonia on Saturday night,” Ross Campbell, ER24 spokesperson said.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 22:45 along with another private medical service to find the teenager lying in the street with a fatal stab wound to the chest.
HE SUSTAINED A FATAL STAB WOUND TO CHEST
He, unfortunately, showed no signs of life and was declared dead on arrival.
Security, as well as the South African Police Services, were on the scene for further investigations.
