It’s the most wonderful time of the year! That is, unless your one of the millions of motorists making your Christmas getaway on Friday afternoon. We’re here to provide the most important South Africa traffic updates in order to help you all navigate your way safely across the the country.

Friday 21 December is one of the busiest days of the year on our roads, and with increased traffic volumes comes a higher likelihood of accidents and fatalities. On Thursday, it was revealed that almost 800 people had died from car crashes in Mzansi, in the last three weeks alone.

We’ve also identified the busiest festive routes in South Africa. If you’re going to use any of these roads over the next few days, please allow extra time for your journey.
