JUST IN! Earthquake rattles KwaZulu-Natal on Saturday afternoon

News just in! An earthquake of 4.6 magnitudes left KwaZulu-Natal residents rattled on Saturday afternoon.

According to Earthquake Today, the quake emanated at Greytown in the uThungulu District Municipality district in KwaZulu-Natal. It happened at 14:32 on Saturday afternoon.

N3 crash truck driver, Vuso Tega, gets bail

On Friday, 4 November, Vuso Tega was released on R10 000 bail by the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court.

The 42-year-old was behind the wheel of the truck that ploughed into a number of vehicles on the N3 on Tuesday.

Two people were killed in the horrific incident, Pradhil Thakur-Rajbansi and Priyanka Nunkumar.

Tshwane streets and areas affected by Sunday’s cycling event

Motorists have been urged to find alternative routes as a number of streets will be affected by the annual Tshwane classic cycling event on Sunday, 6 November 2022. 

Mass participation is expected in the single-day road race over distances of 99 km and 50 km between 04:00 and 18:00. 

This year, there will be a brand new spectator-friendly route that will start at the Voortrekker Monument and finish at Roger Dyason Road.
