The main Sandton TERROR threat is from Daesh extremists (also known as ISIS/ ISIL) after the brutal kidnapping and murders of two SA-British nationals.
And in some fluffy news, light SNOWFALL is expected this coming weekend.
Meanwhile, the latest data published by the Central Energy Fund shows that petrol and diesel prices in Mzansi will definitely be increasing next week.
Power utility Eskom on Friday confirmed that due to lower demand, it’s made it possible to suspend load shedding for the weekend ahead – but rolling blackouts will be back on Monday.
And lastly, it hasn’t even been a week since the Democratic Alliance’s (DA) Mpho Phalatse was given the greenlight to return to office as the City of Johannesburg Executive Mayor and the African National Congress (ANC) is gearing up to table another motion of no confidence in her.
In the latest update on the Sandton TERROR threat, it has been revealed that the main threat is from Daesh extremists linked to Daesh (formerly referred to as ISIL or ISIS).
This comes after the brutal kidnapping and murders of two South African-British nationals in 2018.
Botanists Rod Saunders, 74, and his wife Rachel, 63, were brutally murdered in February 2018, but the trial for their brutal murders only started in the Durban High Court earlier this month.
Light SNOWFALL is expected this coming weekend.
VoxWeather confirmed the snowfall and said it would only be light snowfall on the highest peaks in Lesotho.
Light snowfall is expected on the Balck mountain pass, while no snow is expected on the Sani Pass.
The latest available data published by the Central Energy Fund (CEF) shows that petrol and diesel prices in Mzansi will definitely be increasing next week.

The data, as of Thursday, 27 October, shows that the petrol price is expected to climb by 64 cents per litre – for 95 octane.

Diesel, meanwhile, shows an even larger under-recovery, suggesting a potential increase of between R1.55 to R1.57 per litre.
It hasn’t even been a week since the Democratic Alliance’s (DA) Mpho Phalatse was given the greenlight to return to office as the City of Johannesburg Executive Mayor and the African National Congress (ANC) is gearing up to table another motion of no confidence in her.
Phalatse was ousted as Mayor earlier in September and the ANC’s Dada Morero took over. Phalatse then challenged the matter in court which eventually ruled that her removal was unlawful.
