Load shedding: Will Mzansi spend Christmas in the dark? – Here’s what we know

National power supplier, Eskom is not yet sure whether load shedding will be implemented on Christmas day or not.

The power utility is currently implementing Stage 4 rolling blackouts and there seems to be a glimpse of hope as load shedding will be downgraded on Saturday, 24 December.

In a brief statement on Friday, 23 December, Eskom said Stage 3 load shedding will be implemented from 05:00 on Saturday until 05:00 on Sunday, 25 December.

President Cyril Ramaphosa, his ally Snuki Zikalala, and his wife Nelly, seem to be highly intoxicated or plain down drunk in a video that was recorded after what seems a night of binge drinking.

Zikalala, President of the African National Congress (ANC), and his wife appear so drunk on the video that they cannot stand alone.

The video shows them holding on to each other for dear life as they swing around.

Hospital evacuated after arrival of man with WWI artillery shell stuck in his RECTUM

A hospital was evacuated after an elderly man arrived with a WWI shell lodged in his rectum. This reportedly sparked a bomb scare after doctors feared the shell would explode.

According to a report by the Daily Mail UK, it is understood that the man had inserted it in his bottom for sexual pleasure.
