The African National Congress (ANC) in KwaZulu-Natal says the individual (s) who murdered Hip-Hop star Kiernan Jarryd Forbes popularly known as AKA is a friend, brother and a known community member.

Meanwhile, Eskom said Stage 3 and 4 load shedding would be implemented during the coming week in a statement on Sunday evening, 12 February.

And in a horrible tragedy, twin brothers celebrating their 62nd birthday recently fell to their death after the collapse of a third-storey balcony.

The popular rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his former manager, Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane, were shot and killed at Wish restaurant in Florida in Durban on Friday evening. 

Here is a timeline of the day before his murder.

AKA went on Instagram Live to announce that he would be at Yugo, a luxury champagne and tapas social club in Durban.

He posted that he was on a flight to Durban at around 14:00, and at around 16:00, he was in the gym with friends or just finished his session there.

The African National Congress (ANC) in KwaZulu-Natal says the individual (s) who murdered Hip-Hop star Kiernan Jarryd Forbes popularly known as AKA is a friend, brother, and a known community member.

The 35-year-old was allegedly shot dead in a drive-by shooting outside a restaurant on Florida Road, Morningside on Friday night, 10 February.

Weighing on the murder of the Fela in Versace hitmaker, the party said no amount of words would be enough to express its deepest condolences to his family, business associates, and his fans.

Eskom confirms Stage 3 and 4 load shedding until further notice

Eskom said Stage 3 and 4 load shedding would be implemented during the coming week in a statement on Sunday evening, 12 February.

Stage 4 load shedding will continue to be implemented between 16:00 and 5:00 daily, while Stage 3 load shedding will be in place from 5:00 until 16:00 until further notice.

Eskom said a further update would be issued if there were any significant changes to the power system.

Twin brothers celebrating their 62nd birthday fall to their death from balcony

Twin brothers celebrating their 62nd birthday recently fell to their death after the collapse of a third-storey balcony.

According to IPSS Medical Rescue, the incident happened at a complex in Shaka’s Rock on the KwaZulu-Natal north coast.

It is believed the twin brothers, along with a woman, were leaning against the three-story-high balcony’s railing when it gave way.
