Pretoria motorists have been urged to avoid certain roads as the Unemployed Social Workers Movement of South Africa (USWMSA) will hold a march on Thursday, 31 March.
The purpose is to demand feedback regarding memorandums submitted at the Department of Social Development in previous marches about the high rate of unemployment of Social Workers graduates.
Tshwane Metro Police Department spokesperson Senior Superintendent Isaac Mahamba said the marchers are expected to gather at 09:00 at an open space in Madiba Street and Kgosi Mampuru Street.

While the SUV driver gets out of his car, one of the two men in a car parked next to his slightly opens one of the doors so that the car doesn’t lock.
As soon as the man leaves his car he thoroughly checks that both the doors on his side are locked before walking away. He doesn’t realise that doors on the other side aren’t locked.
Sibongile Mani: Tweeps call for a lesser or suspended sentence
South Africans have taken to social media to call for a suspended sentence in the case of Walter Sisulu University student, Sibongile Mani who was sentenced to five-year direct imprisonment on Wednesday.
Mani was sentenced for spending over R800 000 of the R14 million that was erroneously deposited into her account by the National Students Financial Aid (NSFAS) back in 2017.
