The Groblersdal Magistrate’s Court has denied the bail application of Corrie Pretorius, the man who was filmed assaulting and pointing a gun at a 16-year-old.

Pretorius, who applied for bail last week Friday, was filmed viciously attacking, kicking, and stomping a defenseless teenager while brandishing a gun.  

This is certainly something one doesn’t get to see every day – a two-headed snake was rescued in Ndwedwe. 

In some horrifying news, a mother was grabbed, pushed into car, and kidnapped as she was entering her place of work in Johannesburg on Tuesday. 

There has been much mystery surrounding exactly how the youngsters died, but the relevant authorities have been roped in by the provincial department of health to look into the matter and finally provide clarity to grieving parents.

It’s understood that carbon monoxide poisoning may have caused the deaths of 21 teenagers at a tavern in Scenery Park, East London this past Sunday.

Motorists in Gauteng have been subjected to more traffic chaos on Wednesday morning after an organised protest brought parts of the N1 to a near-standstill. 

Hundreds of looters swarmed the wreckage of an aircraft minutes after it crashed in a field in Cape Town on Tuesday evening. The injured pilot and occupants were robbed of their personal belongings.

JUST IN: Corrie Pretorius, who viciously attacked a teenager DENIED bail

The Groblersdal Magistrate’s Court has denied the bail application of Corrie Pretorius, the man who was filmed assaulting and pointing a gun at a 16-year-old.

Pretorius, who applied for bail last week Friday, was filmed viciously attacking, kicking, and stomping a defenceless teenager while brandishing a gun. He is facing a charge of assault and pointing a firearm.

The State opposed bail for Pretorius on the grounds that should he be granted bail, the community will not take well to it. However, Pretorius’ legal team claimed his life is in danger.

30cm long and rare two-headed snake rescued in Ndwedwe, KZN

This is certainly something one doesn’t get to see everyday; KwaZulu-Natal based snake rescuer, Nick Evans has rescued a two-headed snake in Ndwedwe. 

Evans said the two-headed snake is a Southern Brown egg eater which is common and harmless. 

Evans said two-headed snakes have hatched in captivity and in the wild, but it’s very rare, it is a deformity. The snake was spotted by a man in his yard in Ndwedwe.

WATCH: Johannesburg mother grabbed and kidnapped at workplace

Just watch how quickly a mother was grabbed, pushed into silver Mercedes, and kidnapped as she was entering her place of work in Johannesburg on Tuesday morning.

Anesha Nathoo (57) has been kidnapped, and her distraught family is appealing to the public to help locate her.

“Anesha was allegedly kidnapped today, June 28, at around 6:15 am, while entering Pepe’s Bakery, Lenasia South.

“She was taken in a silver Mercedes. If you have any information about her whereabouts, contact Vinay Nathoo on 082 338 6680 or Poovin Govender on 084 857 4004.”

WATCH: Looters ROB injured pilot minutes after aircraft crash in Cape Town

Hundreds of looters swarmed the wreckage of an aircraft minutes after it crashed in a field in Cape Town on Tuesday evening. The injured pilot and occupants were robbed of their personal belongings.

According to City of Cape MayCo Member for Safety and Security, Councillor JP Smith, the light aircraft went down in the Luzuko area of Lower Crossroads shortly before 18:00 on Tuesday.

A crowd quickly gathered at the crash site and when the pilot radioed air traffic control to call for urgent assistance, he reportedly said the aircraft’s occupants were being robbed of their personal belongings and the plane was being looted.

Enyobeni tavern: Toxicologists probe carbon monoxide link, results due

It’s understood that carbon monoxide poisoning may have caused the deaths of 21 teenagers at a tavern in Scenery Park, East London this past Sunday.

There has been much mystery surrounding exactly how the youngsters died, but the relevant authorities have been roped in by the provincial department of health to look into the matter and finally provide clarity to grieving parents.

Several media outlets have already cited experts who suspect the teenagers inhaled, drink or smoked something poisonous. The tragedy has made world headlines and prompted calls for tough action to be taken against the owner of the tavern.

LOOK: Traffic chaos in Gauteng, as N1 ‘blockaded’ by go-slow protest
