The drop in the price of fuel for the month of August might be even bigger than initially predicted!

We have some great news for the snow hunters! Snowfall in several parts of the country was confirmed on Wednesday evening.

We know South Africa is a violent country. Despite its natural beauty and wonderful people, our high crime rates remain a blight on the nation. And just when you think you’ve seen it all, we get this. A man in Joburg was caught STABBING his victim to death while he was holding on to a child.

An Absa ATM apparent malfunction which saw the machine spew out notes amounting to R10 000 has left many divided.

The division is not about the actual malfunction but the two siblings who discovered the notes covering the Absa ATM and the floor and decided to report the incident.

A 15-year-old boy faces charges of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm for beating another boy outside a high school in Eersterust.

His alleged victim, also 15, suffered a serious cut to the head. He required stitches after being slashed with a belt buckle during an afterschool fight.

August fuel price: DECREASE even BIGGER than expected

The drop in the price of fuel for the month of August might be even bigger than initially predicted!

Taking to Twitter, TrafficSA shared an infographic of fuel prices that are predicted for the month of August. Initially, the drop predicted was about R1.14 – taking into account that the fuel tax holiday falls away. Now it seems a bit more ‘pleasant’ for many motorists.

93-Octane is expected to drop by R1.19, while 95-Octane is expected to go down by R1.22.

Snow hunters – Here’s where to see snow in South Africa NOW

We have some great news for the snow hunters! Snowfall in several parts of the country was confirmed on Wednesday evening.

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) said light snowfall had made landfall on Wednesday in the Eastern Cape and will continue until this weekend.

The SAWS warned that the snowfall could result in icy and slippery roads, traffic disruptions, and dangerous driving conditions.

The sheer lunacy of this footage almost defies description. How someone could act with such impunity in front of a young child is beggars belief. In broad daylight, this father simply withdraws a knife, drives it through his target, and runs away.

An Absa ATM apparent malfunction which saw the machine spew out notes amounting to R10 000 has left many divided.

The division is not about the actual malfunction but the two siblings who discovered the notes covering the Absa ATM and the floor and decided to report the incident.

The duo, Alysia, 32 and Shane Mowers, 28, were beyond shocked when they encountered the floor flooded with R50, R100 and R200 notes when they visited the Absa ATM in Oudtshborn, in the Klein Karoo area, Western Cape on 19 July.

15-year-old arrested for assault GBH during afterschool fight

A 15-year-old boy faces charges of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm for beating another boy outside a high school in Eersterust.

His alleged victim, also 15, suffered a serious cut to the head. He required stitches after being slashed with a belt buckle during an afterschool fight.

According to non-profit organisation Rea Thusa/We Help, the assaulted boy was attacked by eight high school boys. This happened last Tuesday outside Prosperitus High School.
