This is every mother’s worst nightmare. A young mother recently shared a shocking video of what happened to her and her baby in the Meyersdal SUPERSPAR in Alberton on Sunday.

The mother took to social media to warn other mothers of how fast something like this could happen.

In the video, the young mother can be seen holding her baby in her arms and trying to free her hands while at the meat section, she put her eight-month-old in the trolley.

Bus attacked by Man United fans on Monday ‘FULL of SA schoolkids’

This is an own goal even Harry Maguire would be proud of. It has been revealed that a bus attacked by Man United fans this week WAS NOT carrying the Liverpool first team, as first thought. Instead, it contained a group of South African schoolchildren.

The scarcely-believable mix-up took place on Monday night, ahead of one of football’s biggest derby games. The hatred both Man United and Liverpool supporters harbour for each other is off the scale – and this group of fans believed they had an opportunity to spook the Scousers.

Breaking off from an anti-ownership protest, some of those in attendance heard whispers that the Liverpool team bus was passing by. This piece of idle gossip turned the crowd’s anger towards the vehicle – as cans of beer and other objects were hurled towards its windows.

TWO lions on the loose in KZN – here’s where they were last seen

These are the words no concerned citizen wants to hear; ‘two lions are on the loose’. Residents in parts of KZN have been put on high alert, after it was reported that a pair of predators were on the prowl. Despite clues to their whereabouts, neither of these big cats have been recaptured.

Their break for freedom is a huge cause for concern. Rangers say they have a rough idea where the lions can be found, but gathering them safely will be an entirely different challenge. Sadly, they’ve already claimed a bovine victim on their jollies…

  • The lions escaped from Hluhluwe–Imfolozi Park earlier this month.
  • Tracks were found on the grounds of Intibane Lodge and the Sweet Home Bush Camp last night.
  • It’s now understood that the pair are somewhere near Ulundi, after a freshly-eaten cow was discovered in the region this morning.
  • Rangers believe at least one lion is currently in the Babanango area of Ulundi.

Calls to FIRE Limpopo MEC, after her ‘xenophobic rant’ goes viral

The DA reacted instantaneously on Wednesday after Limpopo’s Health MEC was caught on camera berating a Zimbabwean patient. Phophi Ramathuba bemoaned the impact illegal immigration has had on provincial resources – but critics believe she ‘reacted in a xenophobic manner’.

In a clip shared online, the top health official engages with the patient. Upon finding out their background, Ramathuba expresses her immediate disdain. The MEC also tells the shocked Zimbabwean that they are ‘supposed to be with Emmerson Mnangagwa’.

Ramathuba goes on to inform the bed-stricken foreign national that their presence in Bela Bela Hospital ‘puts a huge strain’ on the Limpopo Health Department’s budget. She concludes by slamming *some* Zimbabweans for treating South Africa ‘like a charity’.
