Apple, Microsoft and Google revealed their plans to get rid of passwords. The aim is to replace them with a more secure way to access devices and accounts. 

John Steenhuisen is the leader of the DA. But if you ask comedian puppet Chester Missing his thoughts? The opposition leader should instead be named John “Domhuisen”. 

Mpumalanga police said a 56-year-old woman from Carolina was brutally shot and killed in her vehicle in front of her house just as she was about to leave for work.

Godrich Gardee has delivered heartbreaking comments at Hillary Gardee’s funeral. “Little did we know you would die a death characterised by boot prints on your chest. Stab wounds on your breast and back.”

Meanwhile, Police Minister Bheki Cele has admitted that there is a high likelihood that the murder of Hillary Gardee could be politically motivated. In fact, Cele insists that it seems so far to be a combination of political and criminal circumstances.

Passwords may be a thing of the past as tech giants look at alternatives

Apple, Microsoft and Google revealed their plans to get rid of passwords. The aim is to replace them with a more secure way to access devices and accounts. The US-based tech giants released the joint announcement on Thursday, 5 May.

They are aiming to have a common standard that will allow users to unlock their mobile phones with either facial recognition or fingerprints. Microsoft Vice-President Alex Simons says the complete shift to a passwordless world will begin with consumers making it a natural part of their lives.

John Steenhuisen is the leader of the DA. But if you ask comedian puppet Chester Missing his thoughts? The opposition leader should instead be named John “Domhuisen”. Missing is particularly furious with the DA leader this time over his 6-day trip to Ukraine. According to the party, Steenhuisen is there on a “fact-finding” mission.

While Steenhuisen has already been getting roasted by many South Africans on social media over the trip, Chester Missing has now turned up the heat.

Carolina woman shot and killed in her idling vehicle in front of house

Mpumalanga police said a 56-year-old woman from Carolina was brutally shot and killed in her vehicle in front of her house just as she was about to leave for work.

The car was still idling when she was ambushed and shot multiple times. Nothing was stolen during the attack.

The 56-year-old Leanie Goosen was declared dead on the scene. Her daughter Tania Botha said the family is devasted by the murder of their beloved mother.

Hillary Gardee funeral: Godrich Gardee makes heartbreaking comments

The murder of 28-year-old Hillary Gardee has sent shockwaves through South Africa this week. Gardee is the daughter of former EFF Secretary General Godrich Gardee. Her funeral took place on Saturday. And as expected, the comments made by Godrich have left South Africans even more heartbroken.

In a seven-minute recorded video message that played out during the funeral, Godrich Gardee recounted all the horrific injuries the family noted on his daughter’s body.

Bheki Cele: Hillary Gardee murder could be ‘politically’ motivated

Police Minister Bheki Cele has admitted that there is a high likelihood that the murder of Hillary Gardee could be politically motivated. In fact, Cele insists that it seems so far to be a combination of political and criminal circumstances.

The funeral for 28-year-old Hillary Gardee was held in Mbombela in Mpumalanga on Saturday. Gardee’s body was found after a four-day long search operation. Hillary was the daughter of former EFF Secretary General Godrich Gardee.
