And so the drama started as the start of the State of the Nation Address (SONA) 2023.

THE SONA 2023 HAD BARELY BEGAN

Soon after, President Cyril Ramaphosa began to deliver the 2023 State of the Nation Address (SONA), and the first person was ordered out of Parliament.

Speaker Mapisa-Nqakula ordered the African Transformation Movement (ATM) leader Vuyo Zungelo out of Parliament for “quoting a wrong rule”.

Mapisa-Nqakula then contradicted herself by saying Zungelo was NOT ordered out for quoting a wrong rule but rather for defying her instruction.
