SHOCKER: Tembisa 10 parents NOT MARRIED – and were secret lovers

The birth of Gosiame Thamara Sithole’s decuplets, now dubbed the ‘Tembisa 10’ has been dominating world headlines this past week. Much of that can arguably be attributed to the initial doubt over their existence. It was Pretoria News that did the groundbreaking exclusive with Sithole and the babies’ father, Teboho Tsotetsi, even citing him as her husband.

However, according to The Citizen, Sithole and Tsotetsi have never been married and were actually having an affair when they fell pregnant. The publication claims Tsotetsi is married to another woman and was apparently not happy upon finding out about her impending motherhood, let alone to ten babies.

Concerns for mother of the Tembisa 10

The Citizen has cited a “source” close to Sithole, who claims she was already a mother to five children before falling pregnant – triplets and twins. The “source” further alleges that Sithole’s overly religious family has shunned her and has expressed concern over her mental health.

There were initially questions as to whether the story about the Tembisa 10 may have been manufactured, particularly after Phumla Williams, the director-general of government communications, said they had spent the whole of Tuesday, 8 June, trying to track down the couple and their newborns, with no luck.

Sithole gave birth to the so-called Tembisa 10 at an undisclosed hospital in Pretoria and it is believed that the children, who were born at 29 weeks, are still being kept in an incubator.

“The babies were born and are still in incubators fighting for their lives. They came at 29 weeks; the mother is still weak. And as a black family, we want to protect them. This is a sensitive issue,” a family member was quoted as saying earlier.
