Motsoeneng’s purge continues as the SABC’s assault on freedom of speech continues unabated. The public broadcaster’s most recent cuts are Special Assignment specialist producer Busisiwe Ntuli and SABC journalist Lukhanyo Calata.

In total, the national broadcaster has gotten rid of six people this week alone.

The journalists are reportedly being targeted for speaking out against the SABC’s new censorship rules under COO Hlaudi Motsoeneng.
