A Russian woman gave permission to her partner, a soldier, to rape locals in Ukraine – and all this is heard on disturbing audio.

Kyiv’s security services say they managed to intercept a phone call between the couple and shared a 30-second clip of the exchange to the Security Service of Ukraine’s (SBU) telegram channel.

“This shocking interception by the SBU reflects the moral values not only of the occupiers but also of their relatives, 80% of whom now support the war in Ukraine,” the agency wrote in its description of the clip.

The clip has also been shared online, including Youtube version which has English subtitles. In the recording, the woman says: “So yeah, do it over there. Ukrainian women there. Rape them. Yeah.”

She then laughs, and says, “Don’t tell me anything, understand.”

Her partner, who is presumably in Ukraine, responds by saying: “Uh-huh. So I should rape and not tell you anything?”

“Yes, so that I wouldn’t know anything… Why do you ask?” she adds.

“Can I really?,” he asks again.

“Yeah, I allow you,” she says, with a giggle, before adding: “Just use protection”

Russian troops have been accused of raping women in Ukraine, but the Kremlin has vehemently denied this. One woman detailed her ordeal to AFP, which allegedly occurred on 3 April in the city of Kherson.

The woman, a mother of four, has been staying alone as her husband, a Ukrainian soldier, was fighting in Donbas. While her children had been sent to the west of Ukraine for safety.

She claimed she was at a grocery store when a customer pointed her out to Russian soldiers, telling them she was a soldier’s wife. She left the store, but the soldiers followed her home, where she was then attacked and raped.
