Before you read this RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 4 Rucap please note this article contains heavy spoilers!

As we learned from the sneak peek released earlier this week, the eliminated queens returned for a shot at getting back into the competition.

We soon learn that each returning queen will have the right to choose who they will lip sync against in a LaLaPaRUza smackdown.

Latrice Royale, Gia Gunn, Farrah Moan and Jasmine Masters return for this episode and perhaps a little longer.

Monet X Change and Manila Luzon are relieved to learn that their shared victory last week has granted them immunity.

Gia immediately begins looking for the weakest member of the All Stars herd but Trinity the Tuck is not having any of it and calls her out.

The runway theme was LaLaPaRUza Eleganza which roughly translated to lip syncing attire.

The queens debuted their runway looks before the main challenge and had their been critiques Manila would have earned yet more plaudits for serving a spaghetti and meatballs look. Everyone else went with stripped down performing outfits. Naomi Smalls looked gorgeous, as always, in her kink inspired strappy red number.

Main Challenge

Each queen was allowed to choose who they would lip sync against, to an extant, with Latrice Royale getting to choose first followed by Gia, Farrah and Jasmine would be assigned the remaining opponent. The queen who is picked then selects from four boxes brought out by the pit crew each containing one RuPaul track that the lip sync will be performed to.

Jasmine Mastersvs.Trinity The Tuck“Peanut Butter”

As the first eliminated Jasmine went first in the challenge and it we learned that Trinity was the opponent nobody else wanted to take on. Jasmine didn’t really give it her all, Manila suggested that the meme queen was unable to tap into her strengths because she was unable to partake in the herb. Trinity is safe and Jasmine is back out.

Farrah Moanvs.Valentina“Kitty Girl”

Next up Farrah Moan chose to thrash things out with Valentina but her lack of confidence put her on the back foot against her season 9 rival. Valentina exudes confidence which helps her make up for a lack of dancing experience and limited range of movement. Valentina is safe and Farrah goes home again, cue the tears.

Gia Gunnvs.Naomi Smalls“Adrenaline”

Gia chose Naomi thinking the ‘legs of season 8’ couldn’t turn it out. Gia was in for a big surprise and we were treated to the best lip sync of the night. Naomi just about does enough to stay in the competition with one hell of a performance.

Latrice Royalevs.Monique HeartSissy That Walk

Choosing first Latrice chose to have her moment of revenge against Monique Heart, who sent her home at the end of episode 4. It was another great performance from both queens who each pulled out a wig reveal. At the end of a breathless performance RuPaul tells Latrice to shantay and a gasp of shock comes out of the safe queens from the back of the stage. It looked like Monique was going home but at the last second gagged us all with a double shantay. Monique collapses onto the stage but the Heart of All Stars is safe and the season still has its chief confessional narrator. Facts are facts.
