Things are clearly not as bad over at Treasury as every economist worth their mettle would have us believe, especially looking at how much of our tax money some cabinet ministers are splashing out on their new wheels.

Earlier this year we reported on new – as in a day after being made mayors by the party – ANC mayors treating themselves to million Rand SUVs, but this is on some next level. You’d think our economy was one of the G8.

Anyway, here are the names of the ministers and their new toys.
