The lucky player who scooped the PowerBall Plus jackpot last Tuesday evening has come forward to collect his winnings.
As reported by The South African website, the unnamed player purchased his ticket in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

ITHUBA, the operator of the National Lottery, confirmed at the time that one lucky player had scooped the R74 155 812.50 jackpot.
“We are always excited about our jackpots, especially when they reach these lofty amounts, knowing that when they are won, they will change lives like the winner of last Tuesday’s PowerBall Plus jackpot of R74 155 812.50 million, who has since come forward to claim his winnings.
“The Durban player says that he was shocked when he realised he had won, and his first reaction was to pray.
“The winner plans to invest in property and will continue to work for a while. One of his dreams has always been to travel, and now that he has become a multi-millionaire, he will now be able to realise his dreams,” said ITHUBA CEO Charmaine Mabuza.
A team of financial advisors and psychologists will be made available to offer the winner advice on a series of portfolio investment opportunities as well as trauma counselling.
