A lucky player won the massive PowerBall jackpot just days after another struck lucky in the PowerBall PLUS draw. Both prizes will be worth R5 million on Friday.

A lucky player became an instant multi-millionaire on Tuesday night, 19 July, after hitting the PowerBall jackpot, which was worth just under R100 million. The massive prize comes just days after the PowerBall PLUS jackpot was struck on Friday.

POWERBALL DIVIDENDS                         

According to the PowerBall dividends, the biggest winner in Tuesday night’s draw was the player who matched five numbers plus the PowerBall for a return of R99 983 308,10.

One player followed by matching five numbers for a dividend of R547 394,50.

27 players matched four numbers plus the bonus ball for a return of R12 695,60.

Bringing up the rear, 157 461 players correctly guessed the PowerBall for R10.

The winning PB numbers were: 14, 18, 29, 46, 47 and PB: 16

In the PB PLUS match field, three players walked away with R73 301,00 after matching five numbers.

In second were the 27 players who matched four numbers plus the PowerBall for R5100,10.

595 players followed – winning R392,40 after matching four numbers, while 1216  players matched three numbers plus the bonus ball for R217,10.

At the other end were the 116 474  players that only matched the bonus ball for R5.

The winning PB PLUS numbers were: 07, 13, 15, 19, 32 and PB: 02

After the draws, the PowerBall jackpot starts from scratch at R5 million on Friday, 22 July, while the PB PLUS jackpot rolls over to R5 million.
