A lucky player struck the sizeable PowerBall jackpot on Tuesday night, 30 August, after matching five numbers plus the PowerBall.
According to the PowerBall dividends, the biggest winner in Tuesday night’s draw was the lucky players who matched five numbers plus the PowerBall for a dividend of R63 184 853,10.
Two players matched five numbers for a return of R219 631, while 38 players won R7238,70 from four numbers and the bonus ball.
Bringing up the rear, 124 473 players correctly guessed the PowerBall for R10.
The winning PB numbers were: 01, 07, 10, 27, 35 and PB: 17
In the PB PLUS match field, the biggest winner walked away with R187 602,00 from five numbers.
20 players matched four numbers plus the PowerBall for R5873,80
404 players followed by winning R493,00 after matching four numbers.
At the other end were the 109 317 players who only matched the bonus ball for R5.
The winning PB PLUS numbers were: 05, 09, 24, 35, 39 and PB: 05
After the draws, the PowerBall jackpot starts from scratch at R6 million on Friday, 2 September, while the PB PLUS jackpot will be worth an estimated R20 million.
