Political Task Team: Police offer R20k reward for information on murder suspects

The police’s Political Task Team is looking for Ndo Dlamini (36), Zamokuhle Zamo Mnyandu (39), Sandile Msezane (25) and Ntando Blose, believed to be in his forties.

Police in KwaZulu-Natal is asking the public to help find several suspects linked to a Mpumalanga murder. Two men, Lindokuhle Madonsela and Ndumiso Thusi – aged 36 and 27, respectively – were found dead inside a vehicle early on 9 June. A murder investigation was opened by Mpumalanga police and the docket was transferred to the Political Task Team.

The deceased were found inside a vehicle at approximately 5:00 on 9 June in Unit 3, Mpumalanga. Both Madonsela and Thusi had sustained gunshot wounds to the head.

According to South African Police Service (SAPS) spokesperson, Colonel Thembeka Mbele, the murder docket was transferred to the Political Task Team. “Thulani Holly Shozi (36) was arrested during February 2021. He appeared before the Hammarsdale Magistrate’s Court and was granted bail of R2500. The matter was adjourned to 12 July 2021,” said Mbele.

The Political Task Team is appealing to members of the community to help find Selby Ndo Dlamini (36), Zamokuhle Zamo Mnyandu (39), Sandile Msezane (25) and Ntando Blose, who is believed to be in his forties.

A warrant for the suspects’ arrest was issued by the court and a reward of up to R20 000 is being offered to anyone who may have information that could lead police to the suspects.

“Anyone with information that can assist police in their investigation is requested to contact the investigating officer Sergeant Khumalo on 073-681-2057 or Crime Stop on 08600-10111,” said Mbele.
