PETROL INCREASE – COST OF FILLING YOUR TANK

The cost of filling your tank in March will be a lot more expensive this March.

“These increases will certainly impact on every single South African given the reliance the country has on fuels for transportation, manufacturing and in the agricultural sector,”  stated the Automobile Association on IOL’s website.

The cost of filling your vehicle obviously will depend on the size of your engine. Therefore, bigger is not better when it comes to saving money this March.

Thankfully, The SouthAfrican is here to best prepare you for these increases. We have put together the total costs of filling your engine whether you stay inland or by the coast. The total cost to fill your tank as well as the increase from February to March is outlined in the table below.

If your car is not on the list then you can get an estimate by comparing the engine size to a similar model.

Unfortunately, due to the recent increase in the cost of petrol announced by the Department of Energy, you will have to be a lot smarter with your money. Here is how much it will cost to fill your tank depending on the car you drive:
