A truck overturned and crashed into a guard house at the William Nicol and Kingfisher intersection in Fourways on Saturday, 4 February, critically injuring a man.
At 09:00, ER24 and other services arrived to find that a truck had crashed through a guard house and wall.
The truck overturned and scattered its load of alcohol across the road.
Medics found a pedestrian near the guard house in critical condition, but the truck driver and security guard escaped injury.
The medics treated the pedestrian and provided advanced life support before transporting him to a nearby hospital for further care.
Local authorities are conducting further investigations on the scene.
