2014 | The Great Fire of Valparaíso ravaged the Chilean city of Valparaíso, 16 people were killed, nearly 10 000 displaced, and destroyed over 2 000 homes.

2013 | Two suicide bombers killed three Chadian soldiers and injured dozens of civilians at a market in Kidal, Mali.

2007 | Iraqi MP Mohammed Awad was killed and more than twenty other people wounded when a suicide bomber penetrated the Green Zone and detonated in a cafeteria within a parliament building.

2002 | A suicide bomber blew herself up on this day at the entrance to Jerusalem’s Mahane Yehuda Market, seven people were injured and 104 wounded.
