1898 | The ZAR’s Official Gazette issued the proclamation that the region between the Crocodile River in the south and the Sabie River in the north, as well as between the Lebombo Range in the east and the Drakensberg Range in the west (now the Kruger National Park), was declared off-limits for hunting.
