Petrol attendants in Mzansi have seen enough. They say it’s time brothers are freed from embarrassment. According to this concerned group, local women need to please take a step back from showing who is ‘the man in the relationship.’

VIRAL TWITTER VIDEO OF PETROL ATTENDANTS

According to the gents in a Shell garage uniform, it is too awkward and embarrassing to repeatedly see women paying the petrol bill, all while the man is right there next to his lady at the petrol pump.

The video had the whole nation in stitches with at least 2 179 engagements, and this is just on Twitter as of Tuesday afternoon at 14:00.

“As petrol attendants, we have a special plea,” the leader began to say in a KZN Zulu accent.

“Can all the women please stop embarrassing their male partners when they fill up fuel?” Can you ladies stop humiliating our brothers?

“You like to make a point to always pay and show off your financial independence. It is embarrassing,” the petrol attendant added with an amused smile.

“Give the card to your man to pay. Also, give him the pin to make the payment,” he added as his colleagues tried to suppress laughs in the background.

“PLEASE STOP MAKING IT CLEAR THAT YOU ARE THE ONE WITH MONEY”

The message from the four amused petrol attendants continued to highlight the exact embarrassing details.

“Please stop making it clear to us that you are the one with the financial power in the relationship.

“You ladies tend to enjoy grabbing the speed-point [card payment machine] to insert your card. That thing is wrong. You are embarrassing our brothers.

“You are simply showing that the man is broke. Please stop that ladies,” the petrol attendant added before his colleague agreed with giggles.
