Media personality Bonang Matheba has called out Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula for travelling to Qatar instead of going to Pongola where 21 people were killed in a crash on Friday.

Bonang made headlines in the last few months for labelling Sport, Arts and Recreation Minister, Nathi Mthethwa useless and calling for his resignation.

In a tweet Mbalula informed his 2.8 million followers that he landed safely in Doha, Qatar on Sunday morning.

Responding to the tweet, Bonang accused Mbalula of being tone deaf.

“Tone deaf. All of you. You should’ve cancelled this trip. The community of Pongola needs you,” Queen B tweeted.
