Oliver Reginald Kaizana Tambo was a South African anti-apartheid politician who served as president of the African National Congress (ANC) from 1967 to 1991.

He died in April 1993 aged 75.

Tambo said: “We all belong to South Africa, and South Africa belongs to us all.”
