Katlego Danke, 44, became a well-known face on South African screens when she played the role of super-villain Katlego in Generations.

Danke was born on 7 November 1978.

Danke said: “It’s a full year around the sun again. I’m thinking of balloons and how they represent our basic human need to go upwards – upwards into growth, to stay as light as air (leaving any negativity and baggage behind), towards light and ultimately towards our Creator. It’s not easy. The storms come and the harsh winds blow and there are even some obstacles that threaten our rise. But we press on. Resilient as ever and determined to reach our destiny.”
