The greatest height differential in living fraternal twins (female) is 75.0 cm (2 ft 5.5 in) and was achieved by Yoshie and Michie Kikuchi (both Japan) in Okayama, Okayama, Japan on 23 February 2023.

Michie has congenital spinal epiphyseal dysplasia, which is a form of dwarfism and a rare genetic disorder that results in short stature and skeletal anomalies. She was selected as a Tokyo Olympics torchbearer a couple years ago with her twin sister. Being able to successfully perform her duty as a torchbearer gave her the courage to apply for this record.
