R200 000 reward offered for information on Namhla Mtwa’s killer

The police in the Eastern Cape is offering a substantial cash reward for information that can lead to the arrest of the suspect who allegedly murdered 35-year-old Namhla Mtwa on 21 April 2022.

POLICE OFFER REWARD FOR NAMHLA MTWA’S KILLER

Mtwa was allegedly shot and killed by an unidentified suspect in the evening at her home in Sidwadwa, Mthatha.

“She sustained gunshot wounds in her upper body and was declared dead at the scene,” said Eastern Cape police spokesperson Brigadier Tembinkosi Kinana.

The provincial police are offering a R200 000 cash reward for information about the alleged killer.

Kinana said an intensive investigation is already underway to find the suspect.

“The cash reward is therefore offered as part of the ongoing investigation process and to any individual who can provide information that will lead to the arrest, successful prosecution and subsequent conviction of the suspect responsible for the murder of the late Namhla Mtwa,” said the spokesperson.
