MUNICIPAL WORKER SHOOTING NOT SOMETHING NEW

This period last year, a municipal worker was among those gunned down in KwaDukuza (Stanger) north of the province.

The worker was killed by a stray bullet when armed robbers opened fire on the cash-in-transit guards in an attempt to rob them of the cash bags which were being picked up at a store in the CBD.

Three months down the line PT Alarms reported on another municipal worker who was shot inside a vehicle outside Clairwood Hospital, south of Durban in July 2021.
