A few minutes later, Roma thought they deserved a penalty when Ivan Rakitic handled the ball in the box, but Taylor stood his ground and waved ‘play on’.

Following the comclusion of the match in Budapest, Mourinho was asked about his future plans.

“I want to stay at Roma,” said Mourinho told Sky Sport after the match. “But my players deserve more and I also deserve more. I’m a little tired of being a coach, a man of communication, the face of the club that says we were robbed after every game. I’m tired of acting on every front.”
