Help the police locate Collen Hlongwane’s whereabouts as they believe he can assist in the missing girl’s investigation.

Police in Mpumalanga are urging the public to assist them in locating a missing girl and a man who they believe can assist them in the investigation.
Mpumalanga police spokesperson Brigadier Selvy Mohlala said six-year-old, Bontle Zethu Ditebogo Mashiyane has been missing since Saturday 30 April 2022.
“The girl from Mganduzweni in Masoyi near White River was playing with other children at home when she disappeared.”
Mohlala said.
It was later discovered, that Mashiyane disappeared without a trace.
When the six-year-old girl could not be found, her family grew concerned.
“After failed attempts to find her, the family reported the matter to the police at Masoyi on the same Saturday.”
Mohlala said.
He said the missing girl’s case is highly prioritized hence it is handled by the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) specialized unit in Pienaar.
The members of he unit are experts in probing such matters due to the skills and resources that they possess.
Mashiyane is light in complexion with a brush haircut and she weighs about 17,7 kgs.
On the day of her disappearance, Mashiyane was wearing a pink T-Shirt with pink tracksuit trousers and no shoes.
Meanwhile, the police believe that a man named Collen Hlongwane can assist them in their investigation of the missing girl.
“The man is urged to immediately contact the police or go to the nearest police station.
“Members of the public are also requested to alert police on Hlongwane’s whereabouts or should they see him anywhere.”
Mohlala said.
