Man stabbed to death in front of his TERRIFIED family for CELLPHONE

Paramedics said a 50-year-old man was stabbed to death in front of his TERRIFIED family after three unknown men forced their way into his home in the early hours of Sunday.

THE MAN WAS STABBED IN HIS CHEST

According to Reaction Unit SA (RUSA) spokesperson Prem Balram received a call for assistance at approximately 01:39 on Sunday from a resident after they heard the victim’s wife screaming for help.

“Reaction Officers were dispatched to the scene and, on arrival, discovered the Mozambican national lying on his bed. He was unresponsive.

“Paramedics were called to the scene and discovered a penetrating wound to the left side of his chest. The extent of his injury resulted in his demise.”

THREE ARMED MEN KICKED THE FRONT DOOR IN

Balram said the man was a Mozambican National and the attack took place in Amoutana near Trenance Park in KwaZulu-Natal.

“According to his wife, they were asleep when they heard their front door being kicked in.

“The man woke up and confronted three men who were armed with knives.”

A scuffle ensued and the man was stabbed. The three armed men stole a cellphone and fled on foot.

The injured man’s wife started screaming for assistance and neighbours contacted RUSA.

Balram said a case of murder and robbery is being investigated.

Meanwhile, a teenage boy, aged 13, was BRUTALLY stabbed to death by his OWN mother in Volksrust.

THE TEENAGE BOY WAS FOUND IN A POOL OF BLOOD

The mother also stabbed the teenager’s eight-month-old sister and his grandmother in the attack.

The incident happened on Friday evening.

It is not yet known what caused the mother to lose it completely.

THE TEENAGER WAS STABBED IN HIS THROAT AND CHEST

According to police spokesperson Colonel Donald Mdhluli, police responded to reports of a fight at a house.

“Police had to break the locked door to gain entry. Once inside, they discovered the body of the teenager lying in a pool of blood on the floor of the lounge.

“The boy had a visible stab wound on the chest and on his throat.”

An injured grandmother who was stabbed in the lower body was found hiding in the toilet.

Police found the mother in a room along with the injured eight-month-old baby girl. The baby was also stabbed.
