Man goes missing out looking for pigs

The missing man, TS Chaka (63), was last seen on Thursday, 09 March 2023, according to the police. He suffers from epilepsy.

The Police request the community to help locate a missing man, 63-year-old TS Chaka who suffers from epilepsy.


The missing man was last seen on Thursday, 09 March 2023, according to the police.

According to his wife, Mmatshepo Chaka, he last saw her husband when he told her that he was going to the kraals to check on the pigs, however, he never returned.

His wife went to look for him where he normally drinks near Lesiba tavern in Thabong. The patrons told her that her husband was there but he left.

“He never returned home that night.”

Police say the following day on Friday, 10 March 2023, his wife went to the kraals to look for her husband, but she could not find him. She also went to Bongani hospital but all in vain.

“She then proceeded to Thabong Police Station where a missing person case was registered.
He was last seen wearing a brown striped trouser, yellow short sleeve t-shirt, black sneakers with blue stripes and a red cap. He is light in complexion,” police described the missing man.

Meanwhile, the police in Hebron are requesting the community’s assistance in locating Daniel Msiza (63), who is residing at Michasview Section, Hebron Village, close to Ga-Rankuwa.
According to the information received, he was last seen on Friday, 10 March 2023, at about 08:00 when he left his place of residence to buy cigarettes at a local tuck shop. However, he never returned home.
