Body of a man found DUMPED in a suitcase

A suspect is due to appear in court after the body of a man was found dumped in a suitcase on Sunday in Newvale

On Sunday, 15 January 2023, around 10:00, the body of a 37-year-old man was discovered in a suitcase dumped on Pahlane Street Newvale.

Body of man found by police

Police were called to the scene, where they discovered the body in a suitcase in a stream.

Following an investigation, it was discovered that the deceased was reported missing on Saturday, 14 January.

A murder investigation was launched, and one suspect was apprehended and will appear in Komani Magistrate Court soon.
