An elderly German man is under investigation after he turned up at a vaccination site two days in a row. It turns out he has had himself vaccinated against COVID-19 at least 90 times in order to sell fake vaccination cards with real vaccine batch numbers to people who do not want the jab themselves.

60-YEAR-OLD MAN BUSTED FOR SELLING VACCINE PASSPORTS

According to the Associated Press (AP), the 60-year-old man is from Magdeburg, in the east of the country. For months he has allegedly been turning up to vaccination centres in the eastern state of Saxony for shots against the deadly disease.

This came to a halt when the police caught him in April. He is not under arrest but a criminal investigation is underway related to the unauthorised issuance of vaccination cards and document forgery.

The man was caught at a vaccination centre in Eilenburg after he showed up twice in a row. The authorities confiscated several blank vaccination cards from him.

According to AP, it is not immediately clear what impact the dozens of COVID-19 vaccines have had on the man’s health. He mixed different brands of vaccines.

The investigation is one of many raids made by the German police in connection with vaccine passport forgery in recent months.

People who are against vaccination do not want the jab but the passports remain coveted as it makes access to public venues more accessible.
