AN UNFORGETTABLE SEASON FOR GLAMOUR BOYS

The Brazilians who are from Mamelodi, one of the biggest townships in Tshwane collected a treble of trophies this season.

Sundowns ran away with the title (literally) for a fifth consecutive season, winning by a whopping 16 points from fast-finishers Cape Town City FC.

The Brazilians finished on 65 points thanks to 19 wins, eight draws and just three defeats in their 30 league matches. The Citizens trailed on 49 points.

This season marked the first occasion in PSL history (since 1996/97) where only one team has picked up 50 or more log points.
