BIC often receive queries from South African clients, who are settled in the UK and would like to bring an elderly mother or father to live with them in the UK.
The rules with regards to elderly dependants were changed in July 2012, and the ‘new’ rules are very strict. (Please note the below does not apply to EEA Family dependent permits.)
