Kyle Rittenhouse: Angry protesters clash with police after the verdict
The protest comes after Kyle Rittenhouse was found not guilty on Friday of all charges over the August 2020 shootings in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Angry protesters have reportedly hurled objects at police and broken windows amid anger following the verdict of the teenager who killed two people and injured another at a demonstration.
RITTENHOUSE WAS FOUND NOT GUILTY OF ALL CHARGES
The teenager, Kyle Rittenhouse, was found not guilty on Friday of all charges over the August 2020 shootings in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
According to KOIN TV, demonstrators blocked streets, and others talked about burning down the Justice Center.
A riot was declared as a group of about 200 protesters in downtown Portland began breaking windows, throwing objects at police and talked about burning down the Justice Center Friday night.
ABOUT 200 PEOPLE GATHERED AFTER THE VERDICT
The report said the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office declared the riot when the gate to the Justice Center detention area was damaged, although Portland police initially tweeted there was a riot. The sheriff’s office used PPB’s loudspeaker to make the declaration.
Protesters reportedly began to tear down fencing and construction signs to use as street barricades, banging on the doors and yelling anti-police chants. There were also trash fires and other debris set on fire in the streets.
According to the report, one person was “criminally cited,” and another was arrested, although that person had an outstanding warrant. Officers pulled over five cars associated with the group of protesters, police said, giving out five citations and 17 warnings.

The crowd of 200 had later on Friday evening broken up and largely dispersed.
WARNING OF VIOLENCE AFTER THE VERDICT
President Joe Biden on Friday warned against “violence” in the wake of the acquittal on all charges of a teenager who shot dead two people at a racially charged riot in Wisconsin.
He said: “While the verdict in Kenosha will leave many Americans feeling angry and concerned, myself included, we must acknowledge that the jury has spoken.”
Former president Donald Trump who at the time of the killings said it appeared Rittenhouse had been “very violently attacked”, congratulated the 18-year-old on the verdict, adding “if that’s not self-defence, nothing is!”
