JENNIFER OPENS UP ABOUT MOVING IN WITH BEN AND THEIR KIDS

The pair tied the knot in 2022, and they had to move in together to start a new life together. Jennifer got candid about moving in with Ben together with their kids, on Monday 16 January during an interview on Today. The actress was promoting her highly anticipated rom-com Shotgun Wedding starring Josh Duhamel. The couple’s blended family includes Lopez’s twins Max and Emme, 14, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony, and Affleck’s kids, son Samuel, 10, and daughters Seraphina, 13, and Violet, 16, with whom she shares with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

Jennifer described the experience of blending their family as an “emotional transition.”

“We moved in together, the kids moved in together. So it’s been, like, a really kind of emotional transition. But at the same time, like, all your dreams coming true and it’s just been a phenomenal year. Like, my best year, I think, since my kids were born,” she said as quoted by Page Six.

THE ACTRESS: ‘ I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE’

The actress recently opened up about the heartbreak she experienced after they called off their engagement with Ben in 2004. She said she thought she was going to die. “Once we called off that wedding 20 years ago, I was — it was the biggest heartbreak of my life. I honestly felt like I was going to die,” she told Zane Lowe of Apple Music in an interview.

“But now, 20 years later, it does have a happy ending. It has the most would-never-happen-in-Hollywood ending…That would never happen. We’re not going to write that because nobody would believe it’s ending…I was like, ‘You’re right. It was painful.’ It was a part of me then that I had to put away to move on and survive. It was a survival tactic, for sure,” she was quoted by Hollywood Unlocked.
