When he’s not facing the music, Jacob Zuma is making music

Former President Jacob Zuma is still no stranger to the spotlight, despite closing in on a year since he was ousted from the country’s highest office.

Nkandla’s most famous citizen has been hard at work, either campaigning for his beloved ANC or fighting one of his numerous court battles, and may hardly have any time to himself.

However, his fourth wife, Thobeka Madiba-Zuma gave us a rare glimpse into what the former statesman gets up to during his downtime.

In an Instagram post, a relaxed Zuma is seen enjoying some quality time with family and even trying his hand on playing guitar alongside his daughter.

Another chance to face the music 

Zuma will be on the receiving end of the music later this week, as he is due back at the Pietermaritzburg High Court on Friday, 30 November.

The former president recently submitted an application for a  permanent stay of prosecution for charges relating to his alleged involvement in the ams deal saga which rocked South Africa in the late 1990s.
