Foundation: Zuma set to go public with views on Ukraine conflict
The Foundation says that Jacob Zuma has some ‘clear’ views on what is really happening amid the conflict between the Ukraine and Russia.

The conflict between the Ukraine and Russia has been dominating headlines since the news first broke of the invasion and now Jacob Zuma himself is expected to weigh in on the matter.
Zuma to weigh in on Ukraine, Russian conflict
In a statement issued by the official social media page of the Jacob Zuma Foundation on Sunday, it was confirmed that the ex-president and the foundation had been in discussion on this pressing issue.
Furthermore, the Foundation confirmed that an official statement would be released later this weekend, detailing what his views on the conflict are. Zuma, according to the ex-president’s Foundation, has some ‘clear and unequivocal opinions on what has prompted the conflict.
“The Foundation has been engaging H.E President Zuma on the Russia/Ukraine developments. H.E President Zuma is clear and unequivocal about what exactly is happening. A statement will be issued later today.”
Comments come at critical time for embattled former statesman
While the Foundation has drawn attention to the conflict on Sunday, this certainly comes at a difficult time for the ex-president.
Earlier, the third instalment of the State Capture Inquiry report was released. This prompted a rather hostile response from Zuma’s Foundation.
Certainly, the Foundation is adamant that the findings detailed within the report on widespread corruption within the ANC-led government isn’t ‘worth the paper it is written on’.
The report going public earned the State Capture Commission a lashing from the ex-president’s quarters.
In the post, the Foundation highlighted its view that Zondo had failed to successfully link Msholozi to the Gupta family. Certainly, the Foundation conceded that the Inquiry exposed corruption in the government. However, it is clear that the findings failed to prove any blame can be placed on the ex-president.
“It’s OFFICIAL. Acting Chief Justice Zondo has FAILED to prove that H.E President Zuma was captured by the Guptas as originally intimated by former Public Protector, Adv Madonsela. All Zondo has done is to expose rampant corruption in Government but still FAILED to link it to President Zuma.”
