Graphic content: Couple brutally attack a man over parking space

Two people have been arrested after they were filmed brutally attacking a man with a baseball in the middle of the street over a parking spot in Queens, New York City, United States of America.

According to Daily Mail, Arturo Cuevas, 30, and Daisy Barrera, 27, reportedly stabbed the victim five times and hit him over the head with a baseball bat.

The incident occurred on Friday, 17 March at 16:00 on 49th Street near 47th Avenue in Sunnyside.

The police said the victim entered the hospital in critical condition. He sustained head injuries.

Barrera and Cuevas have each been charged with attempted murder in the second degree, assault in the first degree, and assault in the second degree.

In a video shared on social media, the two can be seen ruthlessly hitting and kicking the victim in broad daylight.

At one point the male pulls the victim’s leg and then kicks him in the head just seconds before the female is seen bringing the bat over the shoulder and striking him directly in the head.

Several bystanders are seen in the area, including one woman who attempts to intervene and gets close to one of the attackers.

“Oh my God, stop!” a woman can be heard yelling in the clip.
