Full moon TONIGHT, last of 2022: Send us your pictures!

The final full moon of 2022 will be on display TONIGHT in a treat for South Africa’s stargazers.

The full moon will be on display on Wednesday, 7 December, but will be at its fullest in South Africa on Thursday, 8 December at 06:09.

WHEN IS THE NEXT FULL MOON?

Tonight’s full moon is the 12th and final of 2022.

The good news for those interested in all things lunar is that in 2023 there will be 13 full moons – the first of which will be on display on Saturday, 7 January at 01:09 (SA time).
