Visit the Sudwala Caves

Costs: Adults R100, Pensioners R80, Kids R60, Kids under 4 free, Butterfly Park Free

The Sudwala Caves are the oldest known caves in the world and lie in the Drakensberg escarpment. Regular guided tours take you 600 meters in and 150 meters underground. Tours leave every 10 min (approx) and take about 30 minutes.

Costs: R75 per adult and R35 per child. Bourkes Luck potholes entrance fee for foreign nationals: R130 per adult and R50 per child.

Bourke’s Luck Potholes is a magnificent natural attraction along the Panorama Route, approximately 35km north of Graskop in Mpumalanga and roughly a 20-minute drive from God’s Window. This natural water feature marks the beginning of the Blyde River Canyon, the greenest canyon in the world, and has been formed by years and years of swirling whirlpools eroding holes into the bedrock of the Treur River.

Dullstroom Bird of Prey & Rehabilitation Centre

Costs: Adults R80, Pensioners R70, Kids under twelve years R50

The Dullstroom Bird Of Prey and Rehabilitation Centre was established in 1997 and has been located at its present site since November 2004.

“The Centre’s original aim was as an educational centre, teaching members of the public about raptors and promoting an awareness of the raptor species and their plight as a growing endangered species. The need for care of injured and orphaned birds of prey prescribed the evolving of the rehabilitation centre as well.”
